2013 – Establishment of TCI Insurance Brokerage
With the aim of transferring our experience in insurance and reinsurance brokerage to corporate clients, we founded TCI Insurance Brokerage Inc. in 2013.
Operating under the brand name TCI—short for Trade Credit Insurance—we specialized in trade credit insurance, offering solutions to secure companies against collection risks.
That same year, we formed a strategic partnership with AU Group, the world's leading broker in trade credit insurance, enabling us to deliver comprehensive solutions on a global scale.
2013 – 2020 | Specialization and International Network
We established a strong presence in the market as an expert broker offering trade credit insurance solutions to companies in various sectors.
Closely following developments in insurance brokerage, we built a structure that not only provides coverage but also meets companies' needs for information and consultancy.
2021 – Establishment of TCI Financial Services and Risk Management
As part of our 360-degree service approach, we founded TCI Financial Services and Risk Management Inc. to support clients in areas such as commercial risk management, collection support, and access to finance. This new structure added receivables management and financial consultancy services to our portfolio in addition to trade credit insurance.
2025 – The Emergence of TCI Financial Technology
To digitize our financial solutions and respond to client needs via integrated IT systems, we established TCI Financial Technology Inc.
We created a dynamic structure operating in the fintech space, offering innovative products such as digitized customer financing and domestic trade risk monitoring.

Umut Fırat
CEO
Founding CEO of TCI Insurance and Reinsurance Brokerage, Umut Fırat has also served as the CEO of TCI Financial and Risk Management Consulting Services Inc. since April 2021. With over 25 years of experience in insurance and finance, Fırat held various senior roles at financial institutions such as Toprak Financial Services Group, Yapı Kredi Factoring, Denizbank Financial Services Group, and Fortis Factoring. From 2008 to 2013, he worked at Euler Hermes in roles ranging from Sales Manager to Deputy General Manager. Fırat holds a degree in Economics from Dokuz Eylül University.

Tolga Aktolga
General Manager
Serving as General Manager at TCI Insurance and Reinsurance Brokerage since May 2015, Tolga Aktolga has also held the role of Commercial Director at TCI Financial and Risk Management Consulting Services Inc. since April 2021. With over 17 years of experience in the insurance sector, Aktolga previously worked at Euler Hermes and Coface. He earned his undergraduate degree in Environmental Engineering from Kocaeli University and completed his MBA at Marmara University.

Ahmet Hasnalbant
General Manager
Ahmet Hasnalbant has been the General Manager of TCI Commercial Risk Management Inc. since April 2021. He graduated from Marmara University with a degree in Economics. Hasnalbant began his career at Ziraat Bank nad has 15 years of experience in commercial risk management, payment systems, and financing. He later held roles in establishing risk management departments at Anadolu Group, Erciyes Anadolu Holding, and Hasçelik Group.
